There was a war in Logo Payam (Maridi Road) of Yei River state which led to the displacement of over 1,500 people who are currently sheltered in the Episcopal Church of Sudan compound.

Here is why -
There were numerous clashes between the rebel movement of Gen. Thomas Cirilo and the South Sudan peoples defence forces (SSPDF) together with their allies in the past week in multiple locations in and around the Yei River state areas including Logo Yei Maridi road. Resulting in the displacement of over 1500 civilians who are confirmed sheltered in the ECS Guest House Compound, and Zerokole.
