We have confirmed that there were some confrontations between the youth and security forces in the Torit area of the Eastern Equatoria State. The youth demanded all of the NGOs withdraw their services from Torit and other parts of the state due to their bureaucratic tendencies to favour employing people from other tribes rather than the local people in the area. However, the situation has been stabilized following the heavy deployment of the security forces and the arrest of some youths.
