This report is Confirmed true and is of High Priority. Here is why -
This rumour came as a high priority and from our immediate investigations with the relevant stakeholders, we found out that such and incidence did take place in Ngolumbu village of Wau county. the clash happened among the farmers of the village and cattle herders who invaded the village , and as a result, the cattle destroyed some of their crops, this angered the farmers and triggered them into raiding some of the cattle, unfortunately some of the herders were armed so in the process of trying to revive their raided cattle, they decided to shoot the farmers and with this, two people got shot, one died instantly and the other one got wounded and is currently receiving treatment at Wau teaching hospital. However, the state government has deployed security forces to the crime scene to protect civilians , so the situation is currently under control.
