This report is Confirmed true
and is of
High Priority.
Here is why -
According to reports from different sources, many people were confirmed dead while others wounded in what appears to be a revenge confrontation between the Murle and Lou Nuer ethnic communities. The incident happened last week when 3,000 armed men from the Murle ethnic community stormed the Lou Nuer community to revenge the March 2020 incident when the Luo Nuer are accused of having initiated a confrontation which resulted in massacre and abductions of thousands of young women and children. In the recent incident, the government has confirmed that several people were shot dead with no specific figures mentioned while several others were wounded. However, other media outlets estimated at least 300 people to be dead.
