According to the reports of several people who had recently arrived from Yei town using the same Yei kaya road they disagree with the rumor that kembe bride was broken. According to them, the bridge was not broken though there was huge fight and many threats made by the Rebels to break the bridge to cut out supplies to the SSDF from the Ugandan government had never happened as circulated by many in the refugee camps. Several news sources confirmed that there was huge fighting around Kembe river but never mentioned of the broken bridge.
