High Priority.
Here is why -
A member of parliament representing Morobo County has said the allied forces of SSPDF and the SPLA-IO under Dr Riek Machar carried out summary executions of 31 innocent civilians in the villages of Loguni and Panyume Payam in Morobo County, Central Equatoria State. These civilians were accused of being sympathizers of the National Salvation Front (NAS). The MP said that “On 29th May 2020, a combined force of SSPDF and SPLA-IO followed the civilians who escaped to the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC) for safety. They attacked and tortured the civilians in addition to looting their properties.” Several people, including businessmen, are confirmed to have come across some of the bodies left on the roadside with their heads cut off.
