The SSPDF killed some Congolese elders whom they suspected to be supporting NAS and the Congolese forces retaliated by killing a number of south Sudanese refugee and burning down the camps forcing dozens to flee to Uganda.

South Sudanese government soldiers entered DRC and confronted with the Congolese army. The Congolese forces after the withdrawal of the SSPDF back to the boarders retaliated by attacking south Sudanese refugee camp forcing dozens to flee DRC.
