Here is why -
On Wednesday, 14 April 2021 government soldiers moved out from their garrison at 4-mile Yei-Kaya road to a nearby village by the name of Dongoda just in between Alero and Longamere. They collided with the rebels of the National Salvation Front (NAS) who were also passing by, resulting in some clashes. After the withdrawal of the rebels, the SSPDF looted the village but later withdraw back to their trenches. On the same date, around 4:00 PM a military truck loaded with property was seen arriving from the side of Yei-Kaya to Amia (the main army barracks).
Hagiga Wahid community ambassadors based in the Amia area have confirmed that two bodies and a truck loaded with property arrived from the Kaya side to Amia and on 15 April 2021, the same truck and many others loaded with property were seen heading in the direction of Juba.
