A lady 27 years old went to the funeral of one of her relative died from Malaria in DR Congo. She was not feeling well after the funeral and she was admitted to the health facility in DR Congo for hematemesis with abdominal pain and fever. She was treated for Malaria and Ulcer. With the treatment, she was not improving and she came back to Yei (Luparate). Once in Yei, she consulted at Lomoku 2 Health Centre in Yei Town with the symptom of vomiting blood and fatigue. The Clinical Officer called the Ebola Case Management team for investigation last Monday at around 6:00 PM. The patient was sent to Yei State Hospital for more investigation. Once in YSH, she was isolated in one of the tents as a suspect of Ebola (not in new isolation centre which is under some modification/construction). She was there without any assistance from Health Care workers and without food. She was with her daughter. She left to her home in Luparate area in Yei town. The Ebola case management team found in the morning that she already left and the surveillance and mobilization team managed to trace her and send back to the hospital. She was isolated again in the same tent and the blood sample has been taken and sent to Juba and confirmed negative of the Ebola virus
