This report is Confirmed true
and is of
High Priority.
Here is why -
In the past few days, the Dinka Bor cattle keepers stationed their cattle camps in Eastern Equatoria State just along the Juba-Nimule highway. This angered the local population, who attacked and raided the cattle belonging to the Dinka Bor. An investigation in the area has confirmed that the Murle tribe also raided the Dinka-Bor cattle. This prompted further tensions and revenge killings. The local government is trying to curtail the tensions through dialogues between the communities but the situation remains fragile.
